Do you know how to plant shrubs?

Thursday, February 2, 2012

Shrubs are the key point of the outdoor decorations of most homes. Shrubs can be almost any kind of small plant. Shrubs range from 15 foot small trees to 1 foot grass bunches. What make shrubs such great decorations is their smaller size and their shape which is generally round. Some evergreen shrubs are even able to be shaped into complicated shrub structures. Other shrubs can have some beautiful flowers like no other and help create a very beautiful home. You can get shrubs for your home in two different ways. The first is by seed. This is a very good method but will take much more time, patience and care since you will have to nurture your plant to life. The more common method is to buy your plants partially grown so that you have a year or two of growth knocked off so that your plant will reach full size sooner. Here is how you plant a shrub that is partially grown:

·         First select your desired shrub location.

·         Then find a shrub that can grow well in your area and that you have the space for and that you like.

·         Buy the shrub

·         Take the shrub home and dig a whole twice the size of the shrubs root ball. Place in fertilizer and insert shrub.

·         Water immediately.

·         Enjoy

If you buy a seed all you have to do is place the seed in the ground in the water but takes much longer.
