Virginia Bluebells is a native perennial plant to the North American region. The plant can grow as high as 2 ½ feet tall with leaves that are 7 inches long and 3 inches wide. To grow the plant you must place it in a rich soil. The light it requires is light shade to partial sun in a moist wooded area. The blooming starts around mid to late spring time. The scientific name of the plant is “Mertensia Virginica.”
